Situated in the heart of countryside, The Scots Pine Tearoom & Restaurant is the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat. Driving South from Edinburgh we are located on the road to Peebles, in the Scottish Borders just before the tiny village of Eddleston. There is ample free car parking just outside and we also have easy access for disabled customers.
We offer a warm and friendly welcome to all customers, both regular or new. Children are welcome, with their own menu, featuring our popular lunch boxes and we also provide high chairs for the very young.
Open all year round we start serving at 10am. Our breakfast menu is available until 11.30am and our lunch menu until 3.45pm - complete with soups of the day and our daily special boards. At 2.30pm we start serving our delicious afternoon teas - not to be missed!
We serve the finest teas and coffees from Brodies in Edinburgh. Including foamy lattes, smooth espressos and chocolately cappucinos. If you enjoy your beverage we also have boxes of various teas available to buy as well as packets of coffees suitable for filters or cafetieres. We have a varied menu with light snacks such as toasted sandwiches, croissants and baked potatoes. Or perhaps you fancy something more filling, for that we can offer you our daily specials, homemade macaroni cheese with a freshly prepared salad or our ever popular haggis, neeps & tatties using McSween's of Edinburgh haggis.
